Tributes pour in for Joburg mayor Geoff Makhubo

Tributes have poured in for Johannesburg mayor Geoff Makhubo.

Makhubo has passed away due to COVID-19 complications.

He was recently hospitalized with the virus.

Makhubo was elected mayor in 2019.

ANC Regional spokesperson, Sasabona Manganye says Makhubo’s passing has left a big gap.
