We are looking for a dynamic, innovative operational person to join the Production department at Amaro Foods.
PURPOSE:
The job duties of a general worker may vary depending on what skills are required at that time. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines.
KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Line Leader and will be responsible for the following:
Administration/ Reporting
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and according to company specifications relating the identified tasks within the production line
Attend and participate in the identified meetings i.e. “ Lets Talks
Production
Responsible for completing the allocated tasks within the production line as required during a shift
Prepared to shift between tasks as and when required within the production line
Responsible for ensuring that the proper checks are followed in line with the procedures and processes as outlined in the identified production process
Responsible for escalating all queries timeously
Back up for Senior Packaging Operator
Risk and Compliance
Comply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements
Ensure compliance to all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping, and pest control
Participate in personal hygiene checks

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
NQF 4 / related qualification
Understanding of food factory and manufacturing
At least 1 years’ food manufacturing experience
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity.
The incumbent should be able to take initiative, adapt within a changing environment and engage in continuous learning. The role requires someone who displays attention to detail, effective time management, planning, and organizing and can follow instructions and procedures.
Furthermore, the individual needs to be deadline-driven and results-orientated, have strong decision-making ability and display a customer service-orientation.
