The ideal candidate should be entrepreneurially-minded, have a passion for leading a team, obsessed about attention to detail, and have great management skills.
Overall responsibility of managing and leading the Cape Town office removal transport company independently, including operations, and sales functions.
Manage all logistics and scheduling of removal services including trucks, staff to maximise efficiency including weekly forecasted schedules.
Strategic oversight of the operations team including KPIs, customer service, policies, incentives and shifts in order to maximise the efficiency and performance of the department.
Implementing of existing operations controls and procedures within the sales -, operations, and packaging inventory departments in order to improve efficiencies, quality control and customer service of the company.
Management of storage facility administration, leases and negotiations.
Must have a minimum of a Matric certificate.At least 3 years’ management experience is essential.Computer literate and able to utilise Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiently.Able to communicate and motivate via written media. Logistics industry experience is advantageous.Good verbal and written communication skills.Can speak English and Afrikaans.Has an entrepreneurial mind-set.Creative problem-solving skills and takes initiative.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to work alone and to be self motivated.Availability and willingness to assist outside of normal working hours.Leadership experience.Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise work.
Gross salary of R17,000 per month + Profit Share Commission(currently ranges from R3,600 to R15,000 pm).
