Supervisor Building Maintenance – Saudi. Permanent position based in Saudi Arabia. Qualifications: Bachelor or BTech in civilsor construction. Minimum 8 to 10 years hands on experience maintenance in relevant fields, preferably in 4 or more of the following:
Structural and Architectural works. Carpentry, Masonry .Painting and other specialized finishes. Renovation & Repairs,Upholstery.Metal fabrication/Welding. Building Envelope and cladding systems Role Purpose:
To supervise and control the civil, architectural and finishing works in the facility and ensures implementation of CMMS and quality management system
Key Accountabilities
Ensure that the structure and finishes of all buildings and public facilities are well maintained according to building codes and standards, Safety standards and KAUST policies and procedures.
Ensure that all buildings, external areas and facilities are checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing, and ensures periodic maintenance is carried out.
Liaise with Service Line Manager and notify areas needing special attention
Supervises and evaluates manpower direct reports.
Plans, follows up, and ensures implementation of CMMS and quality management system.
Respond to emergencies as and when required
Coordinate all incident investigation (RCA) and ensure implementation of corrective actions
Analyses service line performance and produces reports to superiors.
supports subordinates in developing their competencies.
Forecast requirements for manpower, tools and equipment, spare parts and consumable materials
Ensure client complaints are resolved properly.
Participate in new facility take over, carry out inspection of new facilities and report to management.
Assist in the development of the maintenance plan for new installation
Ensure all systems are under maintenance regime
Develop, implement and monitor internal KPI’s for the improvement of services
Performs other job related duties.
Ensure that staff are coached and trained to perform their duties effectively.
Supervise two to Four General Foremen
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to supervise, guide and coordinate
Thorough knowledge of related field
Understands and can resolve technical issues
Ability to effectively organize, delegate and coordinate work
Effective communication
Ability to read technical drawings, and to know commissioning procedure
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Candidate Requirements
