Gauteng Safety MEC pleads with residents to comply with regulations

Gauteng Community Safety MEC, Faith Mazibuko is pleading with residents to comply with regulations.

She says unlawful gatherings are an issue.

Mazibuko said drinking and driving is a serious challenge for the province.

“We wish to call upon our people in Gauteng to please comply with the disaster management regulations because they can save your life. Always remember to wear your masks, even when you’re in your car and there is two or three of you, you must wear masks.”

The Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela says law enforcement is having problems with street parties across the province.
