Frightened Malawians consider going back to home country

More than 100 Malawians who were kicked out of their houses in Durban are pleading to return to their home country.
The Malawians were attacked at an informal settlement.
More than 240 Malawians were targeted at the Burnwood informal settlement after one person was allegedly found with stolen goods.
Authorities say they are working on reintegrating them into the community but more than 100 of those targeted say they would rather go back to Malawi.
They are now relying on the International Organisation for Migration to help them pick up the little they have here and take them back to Malawi.

The streets of Twitter were abuzz with confusion at Metro FM’s and 5FM’s little prank for April Fools day.
