Free State: Late Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R59 in Sasolburg.
Reports indicate a motorbike and car were involved in a collision.
An adult male motorcyclist was assessed and found to have sustained fatal injuries. His adult female passenger had sustained serious injuries.
It was alleged the bike struck the car while the vehicle was turning.
The adult female was treated on scene and once stabilized was transported Netcare helicopter ambulance to a specialist facility.
