Former Bosasa Chief Operating Officer Angelo Agrizzi is expected to appear before the Equality Court on Wednesday over hate speech allegations.
The matter relates to a recording containing racially offensive words, produced during his testimony at the state capture inquiry earlier this year.
In an audio clip that was played at the inquiry, Agrizzi is heard referring to Joe Gumede and Papa Leshabane with the k-word.
While on the stand at the inquiry, Agrizzi admitted to being a racist.
The South African Human Rights Commission has taken the former Boasasa COO to court over his remarks.
