Footballer and Bafana Bafana star Bongani Zungu is engaged. The Amiens SC midfielder could not hide his joy as he showed off on Instagram. Zungu shared pictures of himself on one knee, proposing to his beautiful fiancée, in a romantic modus in the sight of Paris’ Effiel Tower.
Bafana Bafana star and France-based midfielder Bongani Zungu, affectionately known as Ben 10, is now engaged.
Zungu is one of the many players playing in France including Keagan Dolly (Montpellier), Kermit Erasmus (Rennes), Lebogang Phiri (Guingamp) and Lebogang Mothiba (Valenciennes).
Recently, the 25-year-old player was slammed by social media followers including Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy over ‘disrespectful’ sentiments he made on Orlando Pirates coach, Milutin Sredojevic and veteran gaffer Pisto Mosimane.
After an impressive unbeaten run by Orlando Pirates, Zungu tweeted: “Coach Rulani has made Pirates a top team again! Coach Rulani u the boss!”
Social media followers considered Zungu’s tweet disrespectful to Pirates’ head coach Milutin Sredojevic. Zungu went on to insinuate that Rulani Mokwena had also been the brains behind the success of his former club Mamelodi Sundowns more than the head coach Mosimane.
