Emirates has temporarily suspended all flights to and from South Africa from 14 -28 January.
The last flights out of South Africa will be on Thursday and the last flight into the country from Dubai will be on Friday.
The airline says this is due to operational reasons.
Emirates says tickets for dates during the suspension will not be accepted and that customers should contact its offices or travel agencies for rebooking options.
