Purpose of Role: Ensure the day-to-day running of the workshop and ensure workshop duties are carried out efficiently.
Ensure achievement with regards to on-time delivery, and ensure the demands of the pump repairing department are met.
Conduct work activities in a professional manner that reflects positively on the image of the company, and conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding company Health and Safety Policy

Brief Description of the Position:
Planning of day to day repairs
Ensure work is carried out in a clean and safe environment as per current Health and Safety legislation
Negotiate with customers
Prepare documentation such as Goods Received Advice, Waybill etc.
Establish new and service existing client bas
Maintain contact with clients on product knowledge, information and future developments
Prepare the bills of material (BOM), Ensure condition reports are completed
Request quotations from various vendors
Hold meetings with clients with and assist with witnessed inspections, Ability to work with Technical drawings
Ensure pumps are repaired as per standard and assist on site if required
Carry out duties such as spray painting, deliveries, collections and packaging of parts
Willing to work overtime and travel if required
Carry out all other tasks that may be functions as and when required
Ensure all Quality Standards are maintained and adhered to all times
Adhere to Health and Safety/Environmental legislation upholding company Health and Safety Policy

Education:
Qualified and Turner or N2 or equivalent

Experience :
3 years experience with pump repairs and installation
Experience working with slurry pumps
