FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT urgently wanted: Salary R22 000 to R35 000 per month

A well-established firm based in Stellenbosch; Western Cape has an exiting Financial Accountant position available.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s accounting systems, policies and procedures. Supports the company through the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data, verifying the validity, completeness and accuracy of source documentation.
Maintain complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets, and liabilities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This position reports to the Financial Manager and will furthermore be responsible for the key performance areas listed below:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA’s)
Processing up to the final trial balance stage.
Capturing of source documentation (monthly invoicing, bank statement imports, supplier invoice capturing, debtors & creditors adjustments).
Preparing the reconciliation of accounting records to third party statements (debtors, creditors, bank).
Assistance debtors and creditors management process.
Review of management accounts and reporting to the financial managers.
Prepare of statutory returns i.e. VAT.
Assist with compliance with all relevant legislations.
Assist with preparation of monthly reports and reconciliations required by external funders.
Ensure good governance and adherence to various funder requirements.
Ad hoc tasks as requested from management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Completed Bcom degree,
Completed SAIPA / SAICA / CIMA articles,
Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office),
Sage One Cloud Accounting will be an added advantage.
