Fikile Mbalula scraps old taxis
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula will be scrapping taxis on Friday.
It’s part of the revised Taxi Recapitalisation Programme.
Since 2005, over 72 000 old and unsafe taxis have been removed from the roads.
Over R400-million has been allocated in the transport ministry.
