Singing sensation, Lira and her husband Robin Kohl have separated while they decide the future of their marriage. Lira and Robin, who is also her manager, have been married for over nine years. The songstress revealed the unfortunate news on social media over the weekend.
“To all my beloved fans, friends, family and business associates… It is with great sadness that I announce my separation from my husband of many years, Mr Robin Kohl. Lira added that they decided to take some time apart, while they decide if they have a future together. Robin and I are currently living apart and are in the process of deciding the future of our marriage.
“We have had a long and fruitful marriage and business relationship and have formed a strong bond that will remain, whatever the outcome of our time apart. In the meantime, Robin and I sincerely request that our privacy be respected during this difficult time.
“We thank you in advance for your understanding.”Taking to Instagram on their wedding anniversary in September last year, Lira gushed over Robin
“09-09-2009 I said, ‘I do’ to the love of my life, my bestie, my partner in the dance of life 🙌🏾! Life is really awesome with you Sthandwa!,” she said at the time.
