KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H14 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls at the Kloof Gorge in Kloof Durban West region.
A team consisting of Netcare 911, Rescuetech, and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife members hiked through thick bush to get to the patient.
The patient, an adult was found to have head and spinal injuries and was stabilized on the scene.
The patient was placed in a specialized stretcher and carried to a helicopter ambulance waiting at a nearby lookout point where the patient was then flown to a specialist facility for further treatment.
