Ex-Vice-President Mujuru breaks silence on soldiers ra_ping citizens

Former Vice President Joice Mujuru has broken up her silence concerning the circulating allegations that members of the Zimbabwe National Army have been engaging in a systematic ra_pe of citizens in past two weeks.

“The allegations of ra_pe levelled against the Zimbabwe Republic Army should be investigated.” Mujuru said. “Our nation should not be known across the world because of such criminal acts. We demand answers.”

The National People’s Party leader speaks after ITV News released a video footage on Thursday showing an interview with about 11 women who claim that they were ra_ped by the members of the Zimbabwe National Army.

Celebration Church founder Pastor tom Deuschle on Thursday also revealed that he had a conversation with a specialist nurse who informed him that she was treating case of 23 children who claim that they were ra_ped by members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

Members of the security forces are reported to have been engaged in a systematic torture, abduction, ra_pe and killings in the Western Suburbs of Harare and Bulawayo since the 15th of January.

Their activities were a response to a violent nationwide protest that rocked Zimbabwe on the 14th of January.

The Adult Rape Clinic has advised ra_pe victims to seek medical attention within 72 hours of the incident.

Receiving Medical Treatment after ra_pe is an emergency. Survivors can access services with or without making a police report. Rush to your nearest clinic within 72hrs.” The Clinic said.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been quiet since he landed in the country on Tuesday after posting on Twitter that he is coming to deal with the problems happening in the country.
