As the new year quickly approaches, admirers of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri are looking forward to his end-of-the-year service. Bushiri’s New Year’s Eve service is going to take place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on the last night of 2019. A statement by the popular preacher’s Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church says it is expected that thousands of people will attend the yearly event.
His year’s Crossover Service – dubbed the ‘Night of God’s Open Hands’ – is set to replicate the mammoth attendance that has characterised the event over the years.” The concern for all those arriving in Gauteng for the event is being taken seriously. TimesLIVE reported that the church is working with different stakeholders in SA’s tourism industry to help work out mechanisms to ensure the safety and security of visitors.
