South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s lastborn son Tumelo Ramaphosa is making headlines against the backdrop of his alleged relationship with club hostess and DJ Eva Modika.
According to media reports, the two have allegedly been in a relationship for a few months.
The alleged rumours come after they hogged headlines with their viral cosy moments. Tumelo and Eva Modika looked loved up during one of their recent outings and even shared a kiss.
No doubt Eva Modika’s Instagram Live session with Tumelo Ramaphosa has since thrust them into the top trends. In one of the clips, the two were all smiles in what seems to be a nightclub.
However, in the other clip, the two seemingly shared a kiss on camera, leaving many convinced that the two might be in a relationship. The now-viral videos have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on the internet.
A close source speaking to ZiMoja said, “They were doing business at first through a friend, but now things have taken a turn, and they are dating.”
The source added that Eva Modika has been instrumental in promoting Tumelo’s upcoming boxing tournament in conjunction with the Mandela Foundation and the International Boxing Association.
The #StudexCelebrityBoxing will be held at the International Convention Centre in Durban from 15-21 April.
However, against the trends, Tumelo Ramaphosa downplayed the rumours by stating that the two are not dating.
Speaking to Maphepha Ndaba, Tumelo said, “Eva and I are not dating, but she is helping to promote our event on Sunday, #StudexCelebrityBoxing. Please get your facts right and remember to buy tickets for Sunday at www.studexmeat.com.”
Asked about her alleged relationship with Tumelo Ramaphosa, Eva Modika said, “I don’t speak about my personal life. You know I’m a very private person. I have a brand to protect. Call Tumelo, what did he say?”
Fans were more than convinced that the two could have promoted their event without getting cosy. Others were more than convinced that it was a PR stunt.

However, this is not the first time Tumelo Ramaphosa has made headlines. Last year, he hogged headlines when he was rumoured to be dating Real Housewives of Durban star Nonku Williams after their photos flooded the internet.
However, against the cosy dinner date, the two revealed that they had joined the “perfect pairing” of “premium meats and fine wines.”
