Popular South African singer and Grammy award-winning star Nomcebo Zikode and media personality Masechaba Ndlovu made headlines after their photos went viral.
The photos of the two celebrated stars have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on the internet, with many trying to connect the dots if they are related.
Taking to Instagram, Nomcebo Zikode shared photos with Masechaba Ndlovu and captioned, “Let’s play a little game called “Who is who?” Let me know who is who in the comments & we will see who will get it wrong. cc @masechabandlovu #IzonoZami #guessinggame.”
On the other hand, Masechaba shared videos after switching personalities. Masechaba Ndlovu addressed Nomcebo as herself while Nomcebo congratulated the television host for winning a Grammy.
There is no doubt that this switch of personalities left many confused. Against the now-viral video, fans have been trying to connect the dots if the two are related.
Against their posts, one user commented, “If Nomcebo can’t make it to one of her gigs, Masechaba can stand in.” Another user added, “At this point, you two must have been separated at birth. How can two people look so alike? I wonder where my “twin” is in the world.”
Despite topping trends over the years due to their striking resemblance, the two are yet to confirm if they are related openly. The two have often been mistaken as twins due to their canning resemblance.
They also have a similar voice tone, and their signature hairstyles often confuse many. Against the trends, fans jokingly asked the two personalities to try to ask their immediate families if they were related or not.
Nomcebo Zikode was born on 28 October 1985 in KwaZulu-Natal. The 38-year-old star grew up in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. She matriculated at Ukusa High School before she enrolled for an Information Degree with Havatech College.
With a career spanning years, she has fast become one of the most sought-after singers and has wowed many with her vocals. Over the years, Nomcebo Zikode has capped her career with several accolades, including the Grammy Award. In 2022, she won Best Global Performance at the Grammy Awards.
Masechaba Ndlovu is a Zambian-born South African actress, producer and presenter. The 40-year-old media personality was born on 10 September 1983. Over the years, the celebrated media personality has fast become a brand.
She has starred in several screen productions as a presenter and actress. With a career spanning years, she has starred in big-budget drama series like Backstage and Generations. Masechaba Ndlovu has also served the government as the Ministry of Arts and Culture spokesperson.
