
Eskom is suspending load-shedding on Friday afternoon. But before you get excited, it’s not for your benefit. It’s only to ensure a virtual sitting of Parliament.
The load-shedding suspension will take place from midday to 5pm Friday evening to help Parliament pass a number of Appropriation Bills.
According to the power utility, passing the bills is essential for government operations.
They affect a number of state functions like hospitals and law enforcement.
Load-shedding will resume from 5pm.
