Union representative Hlasinyane Motaung said companies like G4S and Fidelity need to beef up their security.

“When we talk about cash-in-transit employees we need them to be equal to the robbers,” said Motaung.

South Africa has seen a spate of cash-in-transit heist recently with criminals using extreme measures to get off with their loot.
