Requirements:

Proof of registration as an Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) with the HPCSA. Degree in Emergency Medical Care is a requirement. Degree or post-graduate diploma in Higher Education is an advantage. Master’s Degree in Emergency Medical Care will serve as a recommendation. Proven experience in an education and training role. At least 3 years of pre-hospital operational experience.

A pro-active results-driven person with a high energy level, strong technical orientation, and clinical competence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to plan, organize and a commitment to personal and personnel development. Willingness to study further. Valid code EB (code 08) drivers licence. Proficient in Microsoft Office Package.

Key Outputs:

Responsible for Diploma in Emergency Medical Care student training and administration. Responsible for student selection and placement. Provide student support in order to reach specific learning outcomes. Assessment of competencies. Development of learning materials.

Development of policies and procedures. Development of suitable learning interventions. Implementation and maintenance of standard documentation as required by the quality system.
