Electrician needed – Apply Now. Industrial Automation Electrician required for a permanent position in Pretoria

Own Transport and experience in the Automotive Industry is required

Position Objective: The applicant will be responsible for Electrical project installations, prepare wiring diagrams, install cables and wireways, documentation, and records as well as commissioning and handover. Fault finding on existing installations.

Responsibilities:
Thoroughly understand and implement work requirements on-site as per supervisors/contract managers specification
Read and interpret drawings and transmitting the information from the drawing to materials
Advise supervisor of material requirements for the execution of work where necessary
Automation control, knowledge, and application
Interpret electrical drawings
Fault finding and Panel building
Multitask and assist with the roles of team members when required (i.e., semi-skilled worker and general worker)
Understanding that work may be required on more than one site, hence traveling will be required to different regions.
Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements
Adherence to ISO Quality Standards
Adherence to any other instruction as given by the Electrical Supervisor

Qualifications and experience:
Trade tested qualification
Wiremans License
Currently employed as an Electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years experience within the Automotive Industry / Sector with a strong emphasis on Industrial Automation
Valid Drivers License Code 08
Must be willing to travel and work away from home
