KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –

 Carry out planned electrical maintenance as per schedule;

 Make recommendations to improve equipment uptime;

 Perform daily checks and routine inspections on electrical equipment (including transformers, switchgear, process equipment, services equipment) and report faults;

 Attend to electrical and electronic faults on equipment;

 Adhere to Company’s SHE regulations and requirements;

 Monitor critical electrical spares usage and arrange re-ordering as required;

 Maintain high level of housekeeping in your area; and

 Utilise Shopware Asset Care module for job cards, spares and other reporting

Candidate Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12 / N3 Qualification including Maths & Science (Maths Literacy not sufficient);
N4 Electrician Qualification with recognised Trade Certificate.
REQUIREMENTS:

5 years’ years’ working experience in a Continuous Production Plant;
Experience in a Paper Manufacturing Environment will be advantageous;
Microsoft Office proficiency;
Asset Care software programme proficiency;
PLC experience is an advantage;
JSD experience is an advantage;
Knowledge of mechanical equipment;
Highly developed root cause analysis and fault finding skills;
Must be able and willing to work standby and occasional overtime when required;
Own transport and valid driver’s license.
