ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa has welcomed the Independent Electoral Commission’s decision to go ahead with this year’s municipal elections. He’s also praised the planned reopening of candidate registration for the elections.
The voter registration weekend will go ahead on 18 and 19 September. Ramaphosa was speaking on the outcomes of an ANC NEC meeting on Monday.
