
EFF leader Julius Malema held a media briefing on Wednesday. He’s expected to touch on the party’s election preparations, and respond to allegations of financial mismanagement.
These have been made by party member Thembinkosi Rawula. Rawula claims that EFF benefitted from the looting of VBS Bank – despite denials from the leadership.
“All these years that I have been in the EFF, I’ve always been open and I’ve always raised uncomfortable issues, including the issue of VBS, so I’ve raised them inside. It is only now that I’ve realised that the only option left for me is to be expelled and chastised from the organisation.” Rawula said.
