
The EFF says it’s confident Adam Catzavelos will stand trial for the use of the k-word in a viral video. This as Catzavelos is continuing his fight to get a charge of crimen injuria against him dropped.
The Randburg Magistrates Court heard that his legal team is still waiting for a decision from the national director of public prosecutions – on whether the case will be dropped.
Representations to the Gauteng office have already been unsuccessful – while the way forward in the Greek prosecution remains unclear.
Catzavelos caused an uproar in 2018 after a video emerged of him using the k-word while on holiday in Greece.
In other news – AKA to drop sneaker collaboration with Reebok
AKA has announced a sneaker collaboration with sportswear brand, Reebok. The star shared a snap of the SneAKA which is set to hit stores later this month. This comes a few months after he hinted at the news during a visit to the brand’s headquarters in Boston.
Taking to social media to share the news, he shared that the sneaker was designed by him and his brother.
