Child critical, three others injured in Durban South roll-over

KwaZulu-Natal: At 20H28 Tuesday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N2 near Warner Beach South of Durban.

Reports indicate that the driver of an SUV with four occupants lost control, resulting in a roll-over down an embankment, ejecting occupants in the process.

When medics arrived on the scene, they found that an adult male and female, including a male child, had sustained moderate injuries and were transported by ground resources to the hospital.

Another male, approximately 10-years-old, who was injected in the roll-over had sustained critical injuries.

The patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner and once stabilized was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to the hospital for further care.
