KwaZulu-Natal: At 18H54 Friday evening, Netcare 911 responded to an assault on the corners or the M4 and Ann Arbour in La Lucia Durban.
Reports indicate that a 20-year-old male had sustained serious injuries after being assaulted with a rock and robbed of his belongings.
On arrival of medics, the patient was being given first-aid by Marshall Security armed reaction officers who stopped the bleed.
On assessment, the patient was found to have sustained serious head injuries and was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic.
The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
