We love seeing our celebrities rocking on our small screens and our desire to know more about their personal life keep growing.

Although some of them have dominated well in the South African industry, so you know that some of them have dual citizenship. Below are six celebrities who allegedly have dual citizenship:

Sho Madjozi

The South African-born star whose real name is Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif was born to a Swedish father Marc Wegerif and South African mother Rosemary Phaweni in Shirley Village in Limpopo. Her parents divorced while she was at a tender age. She was raised by her father who was based outside South Africa for work. Despite being born and partly growing up in South Africa, Majozi proudly has both her parents’ countries’ identities and citizenships, hence, she is both Swedish and South African.

Connie Ferguson

Like her late husband Shona Ferguson, Connie also has a Botswana background. Connie was born in Kimberly in South Africa where her mother is from. She, however, grew up in Tshidilamolomo in Botswana where her Motswana father comes from.

This means she has both countries’ citizenship by birth and by descent.
