Priorities and Accountabilities
Gather existing materials or work with our designers and writers, to create new artwork or text;
Find and edit graphics, such as photographs or illustrations;
Turn materials into digital images;
Position artwork and text on the page layout;
Import text and graphics into desktop publishing software programs;
Use scanners to turn drawings and other materials into digital images;
Select formatting properties, such as text size, column width, and spacing;
Check preliminary and final proofs for errors and make necessary corrections;
Finalise formatted documents for printing or electronic publication; and
Archive and store images and documentation in the appropriate manner, according to Company procedure.
In addition to the above, the incumbent will assist with design-work, where required, and will therefore play a supportive role to creatives and the Client Services team in terms of graphic design and DTP areas. This will include following existing workflows and processes, brand guidelines and strategies, to produce a variety of work of very high quality. Apply Now
