Police officers arrested following drug bust

Police officers have allegedly tried to steal drugs they seized in a massive drug bust in Aeroton, South of Johannesburg.

Millions of rands worth of cocaine were seized.

It is reported that the police who pulled the truck overloaded the drugs into their vehicle and tried to flee.

Five officers have been arrested.

The truck had been en route from KwaZulu-Natal to deliver spare parts when it was searched, and the drugs found.
