DJ Tira steals the show at DA concert amid s.e.xual assault allegations – VIDEO

It’s been business as usual for popular Mzansi star, DJ Tira who performed at a KwaZulu-Natal concert at the Democratic Alliance (DA) election rally on Saturday, 11 May.
This comes amid allegations by fellow Durban artist Luke Ntombela that the DJ sexually assaulted her at his home a decade ago.
This week, the opposition party also made headlines for unveiling their burning flag advertisement.
Earlier this week, DJ Tira trended on social media after Durban singer Luke Ntombela accused him of drugging and s.e.xually assaulting her.
Speaking to Ukhozi FM, Luke alleged that she had been invited to the DJ’s home, where she allegedly blacked out and woke up next to him in bed.
The incident allegedly took place in 2014.

On social media, Luke also posted video clips of her accusations as well as screenshots of messages between DJ Tira and herself.
According to Zimoja, Luke has also accused the music mogul of not paying her adequately for a collaboration.
Tira has yet to address the allegations publicly.
However, amid the scandal, the Afrotainment founder performed on stage at the “KZN Rescue” concert at Curries Fountain in Durban on Saturday, 11 May. Fellow artists Babes Wodumo and Dlala Thukzin also performed on stage.

Like many other artists, DJ Tira was once linked to the ANC. However, in recent years, the popular entertainer has chosen not to affiliate with any political party.
Since then, he’s performed at IFP, EFF, and now DA campaign rallies.
Speaking to Sunday World in 2021, he said: “I am a businessman and artist who goes where I get booked to perform. I need to support my family at all costs, performing in a political campaign of any party.
“I am hungry, and I need to put food on the table for my family. In this regard, I am not affiliated with any political party”.
