President Cyril Ramaphosa is still studying the Special Investigation Unit’s report on Digital Vibes.
The SIU and the presidency were scheduled to appear before Parliament’s standing committee on public accounts on Tuesday.
However, chairperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa, announced the presidency had excused itself because it could not yet engage on the report.
The communications company is believed to have scored R150-million in an irregular contract with the Health Department.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, who is said to be a close associate to some of the people linked to the company, is still on special leave.
