Former Chelsea star Diego Costa Linked With Shock EPL Return

Former Chelsea star Diego Costa has been linked with a surprise return to the English Premier League, with two clubs apparently keen on the forward.

According to English publication the Sun, the Spain international has reportedly attracted interest from Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Everton has reportedly been searching for a new No.9, while Wolves have been linked due to the fact that Costa’s agent, Jordge Mendes, has a good relationship with Wolves.

After leaving Chelsea in 2017, Costa returned to Los Rojiblancos in a reported £57million deal but only scored five goals in 21 appearances last season.

Spanish outlet Diario AS claim that Costa is focused being in Diego Simeone’s plans for the 2019/2020 season, although he is aware of the interest from England.

Costa has one year left on his contract with Atletico and would reportedly cost around €30million if the likes of Wolves or Everton were to make a move.
