Union federation Saftu has suspended four national office bearers with immediate effect. They are accused of bringing the federation into disrepute.
The federation found the decision to place its general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi on suspension was unconstitutional.
In a statement, the federation said its prepared to defend this decision “until the highest court.
