Our Freight client is currently looking for a Debtors Clerk based in Durban, Bayhead
Preference will be given to AA candidates
Complete Credit Control Function
Customer rate verification to in-house system and invoices
Reconciliation of client accounts
Reconciling ad hoc reports for various customers
Filing and posting invoices and/or credit notes
Extracting reports – balancing of volumes and generating the same for management
Forwarding charges to clients, when required
Accpac payment processing and generation of client statements
Credit note processing
Handling and resolving customer queries
Verification of charges for key clients and finalization of the respective invoices.
Ad hoc functions as and when required
Requirements:
Matric certificate / Grade 12
Accounting Degree/Diploma would be an advantage
At least 2 to 3 years of practical experience performing the same job function in a medium to a large company
Computer literate and proficient in Accpac and Excel
Accurate with high attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Salary is market-related
