
There have been 3,628 new COVID-19 infections reported over the past 24-hours in South Africa.
Sadly, a further 22 people have died, bringing the death toll to 96,502.
Over 39,000 tests were conducted since the last report and the positivity rate stands at 9.2 percent.
Gauteng has the biggest share of new cases with 1,249.
