
The National Institute For Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 947 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
A total of 40 more COVID-19 related deaths take South Africa’s death toll to 88,506.
Most of the new cases (233) were recorded in KwaZulu-Natal.
