SA COVID-19: 48 more deaths recorded

South Africa’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 18,891.
The Health Department has reported 48 more deaths in the last 24 hours. Seven of the reported deaths happened in the past 48 hours.
There have been 1,897 new coronavirus cases in the country, taking the total number of cases to 712,412.
South Africa’s recoveries now stand at 643,523, which translates to a 90-percent recovery rate.
