Cyril Ramaphosa: Load-shedding devastating for the economy

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the anger and frustration over load-shedding is understandable. He described the outages as devastating for the country and the economy. Meanwhile Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan says the electricity crisis is manageable.

Eskom has been struggling to keep the lights on since heavy rains started last week. Ramaphosa says all stakeholders need to work together to end the crisis. He’s also urged Gordhan and Eskom to continue giving regular updates.

In other news – Cici wins a case against former record label

Singer, Cici announced on social media that she’s won legal battle against her former record label. Though the singer didn’t mention the label’s name, all fingers point to the label, 999 music.

Taking to social media, Cici says she’s won her liquidation against former label company and will be paid all that they owe her. However, Cici said it’s not all about the money but it’s just principle. Read more
