Singer, Cici announced on social media that she’s won legal battle against her former record label. Though the singer didn’t mention the label’s name, all fingers point to the label, 999 music.
Taking to social media, Cici says she’s won her liquidation against former label company and will be paid all that they owe her. However, Cici said it’s not all about the money but it’s just principle.
“Finally won my liquidation case against former recording company after a long battle.. They are said to pay me what is owed and foot my legal cost bill . This after being forced into provisional liquidation. It was never about the money but principal. Pay artists what is due,” she tweeted. The singer further defended her previous tweet.
Money due was way more than the money spent on legal cost .. So trust if it was about money I would have just let them keep it because it wouldn’t make sense to spend more than I’d get. So it’s principle my bro. Luckily I’ll get all legal costs back 🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽 https://t.co/2vSUcpCsDh
