Senzo Mchunu briefing the media on COVID-19 Level 4 lockdown

Minister for Public Service and Administration, Senzo Mchunu, briefed the media on the readiness of the public service operations under the COVID-19 level 4 lockdown. The Public Servants Association has raised concerns about some departments’ readiness in dealing with employees returning to work.

Andile Mchunu Bobo from Hambanathi, Tongaat was found dead. The 16-year-old was reported missing a week ago. In a sad development that shocked South Africa, a video of Andile Mchunu “Bobo” being beaten soaked by blood surfaced hence calls for Justice for Bobo intensified.

As it appears in the video, Andile Mchunu died due to excessive bleeding and his body was found in Newton River in Tongaat. The boy who recorded the video Luyanda Mshana is believed to have confessed about Bobo’s murder to his parents who reported the matter to the police. Read more
