The Health Department reported 135 more COVID-19 deaths in South Africa, taking the death toll to 19,411.
Over 1,300 infections have been recorded since the last report. The number of people who have contracted COVID-19 in South Africa is approaching 730,000.
The recovery rate remains at 90%. Almost 5-million people have been tested for COVID-19 in the country.
