Health department records 613 new COVID-19 cases, 95 deaths

The health department said 95 more people have succumbed to COVID-19 related complications. This takes the death toll to more than 51,400. Most of the latest deaths are from the North West and KwaZulu-Natal.

The country recorded 613 new infections. Over 147,000 healthcare workers have been vaccinated.  Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
