The Department of Health reported 888 new cases of COVID-19 in the country. The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 693,359.
The death toll now stands at 17,863 after 83 more people died of COVID-19.
Recoveries now stand at 624,659 which translates to a recovery rate of 90 percent.
