Correctional Services confirm body found in cell is not the convicted r@pist, Thabo Bester

Correctional Services says those involved in the Thabo Bester prison-escape will be punished.

The department’s confirmed that the body found in Mangaung prison is not that of the convicted murderer and rapist.

Bester, known as “the Facebook rapist”, escaped from prison in May last year.

Departmental spokesperson, Singabakho Nxumalo explained what happened.
