Dr Mkhize – Do not fear coronavirus

Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize says South Africans shouldn’t fear the Coronavirus, they should rather understand how to defeat it. Mkhize was briefing the community of Pietermaritzburg.

That’s after a third person tested positive for COVID-19. The third patient is the wife of the first man diagnosed with the virus.

The minister says it was always only a matter of time before South Africa confirmed its first coronavirus case.

On Thursday, South Africa reported its first case of coronavirus.

A 38-year-old man tested positive for the COVID-19 virus in KwaZulu-Natal.

The man recently travelled to Italy.
