Minimum qualifications required:
Admitted conveyancing attorney in South Africa.
Minimum 2 years post article experience in property conveyancing.
Commercial law experience in new property developments a prerequisite.
Experience working with property developers an advantage.
Exposure to a property sales and marketing environment an advantage
Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend to the conveyancing of the group’s developments
Manages and vets all property transfer related transactions and process
Responsible for all aspects of the law and practice relating to Conveyancing
Public Law litigation, particularly focused on Zoning, Environmental and Heritage aspects
Due diligence’s pertaining to all aspects of property
Drafting commercial contracts and legal opinions relating to all aspects of property law
Local transfers (sectional and conventional title)
Handle client enquiries
Subdivisions and consolidation
Town planning, establishments, and proclamation
