The r@pe trial of Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, resumed on Friday. Judge Mandela Makaula recused himself

Omotoso and two others are on trial for a range of crimes, including r@pe.
They’re facing more than sixty charges, ranging from r@pe to s-e-xual assault and human trafficking.

Their lawyer, Peter Dauberman, claims his clients felt Makaula was overlying sympathetic to witnesses, an especially first state witness, Cheryl Zondi.

He’d approached the Supreme Court of Appeal, to have judge Mandela Makuala recused from the trial but he lost that bid.
